Chalet Terray

Chalet Terray is a charming chalet on the southern slopes of Chamonix, in the Pècles district, about 1 km from Chamonix town center. The chalet has just been completely renovated and comprises 3 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom or shower room. It includes a balcony terrace facing the Mont Blanc massif and is surrounded by green spaces, bordering the forest where deer and roe deer like to come and have their fill.

Antoine Terray has renovated this chalet, which belonged to his father, the famous mountaineer Lionel TERRAY. It comprises a large entrance hall, two bedrooms, each with its own closet and shower room, and a separate toilet. The upper level comprises a living room with a modern, fully-equipped kitchen, opening onto a 15 m2 balcony terrace, and a double bedroom with bathroom and WC. Depending on your requirements, the bedrooms can be equipped with 2 single beds (80x200) or a double bed (160 x 200). The general ambience of the chalet and its facilities will provide you with all the modern comforts you'd expect. However, the chalet is located on the south-facing hillside, so you'll need to climb a small slope and then an outside staircase of some twenty steps from the garage to reach the dwelling. Once inside the chalet, you'll appreciate the panoramic view, the quality of the sunshine and the natural surroundings.

The chalet comes with a garage where you can store your car, ski equipment or even bicycles. From the garage, you'll need to walk a hundred meters to the chalet, including a fifty-meter slope (equipped with a staircase).

The chalet is located in a residential area, on the south-facing slope of the Mont Blanc range, between the Gaillands area, which includes the climbing rock and a lake, and Chamonix town center.

It takes about 1/4 hour to walk to the town center, and the bus stops are a 5-minute walk away.
